Levi's pants soon became known as "denim" (after the French city of Nimes, from which the fabric for them was supplied). And the shoes were affectionately called "dockers" – because they were sold on the docks, and they were especially loved by sailors who needed to move across wet boards. In Russia the brand is also known in narrow circles. It is valued for quality on par with Timberland. Only the prices, of course, are of a completely different order – the same Dockers shoes can be bought for 6-11 thousand rubles (even with “discounts”). That is, roughly 2-3 times more expensive than on the official site or at the permanent sale store 6PM.com.
