What will the PS5 be like
Developers shared the secrets of the new console back in spring 2019. As the central processor in Sony Playstation 5, an AMD Ryzen chip on 7 nm will be used — with 8 cores and Zen 2 base in tandem with GPU Radeon Navi. Thanks to the update of the computation block design, the device gets increased memory usage efficiency. As a result, we get a 1.25-fold increase in clock performance and a 1.5-fold increase in performance per watt.
The system is capable of supporting 8K resolution and delivering 120 FPS. The processor provides 9.2 teraflops of power. Test results place the new "console" between RTX 2070 Super and RTX 2080 graphics cards.
