Mother's Day in the USA: sales up to -75% for the whole family

In the US, the second Sunday of May is a major sale, comparable in scale to Black Friday. Discounts reach up to 75 percent and apply far beyond the classic women's categories: any branded product falls under the discount, from electronics to home appliances, from clothing and footwear to cosmetics and perfumes. For a buyer from Russia, the difference feels especially sharp — the same items in Russian retail cost two to three times more, and half of the original brands are simply unavailable after leaving the market. The sale runs throughout the week after the holiday on the largest platforms — Amazon, Walmart, Macy's and dozens of others — but the peak discounts fall on Mother's Day itself.
