What can be purchased additionally at the warehouse and how to reinforce the packaging
You can add American products from our own selection at the warehouse: sweets and snacks, instant noodles, vitamins, drinks, seasonings and sauces, hygiene products. You choose the product while arranging shipping, and we put it in your package. There is no need to order from a store and wait for delivery to the warehouse.
Warehouse items are needed when the package is already being packed, and you remembered vitamins or want to add American treats.
You can add an item from the warehouse to your package while arranging shipping: select what you need and add it to your package. The cost of the item will be deducted from your balance, and the weight will be added to the package weight, so shipping will cost a bit more. You will see the final amount before payment.
You can reinforce the package packaging in two ways:
Film is chosen if you want to protect the box from external impacts, a bag helps protect the items inside the box, for example from moisture.
Stickers on the box ask the carrier to handle the package more carefully. Each costs $0.50, and you can choose any:
The sticker does not provide a guarantee, but it noticeably reduces the chances that the box will be thrown or placed under something heavy. Besides, they're cute.
Standard packaging is included in the price. We pack the parcel for free so that it can withstand international shipping: we seal the box with special tape, add filler if necessary, remove shoe boxes if you requested it. You only need to pay for additional protection, film, a bag, and stickers.
Packaging has almost no noticeable effect on the weight and shipping cost: film, bag, and stickers weigh little. But warehouse items add actual weight, and this is reflected in the shipping price. Before paying, check the final parcel weight in the calculator.
You can remove shoe boxes for free; to do this, when arranging shipping, choose the option without boxes. The package weighs less, and shipping is cheaper. If you need the boxes, leave the option “keep shoe boxes”, and we will ship the shoes as is.
In addition to shoe boxes, we remove excess packaging and printed store ads if they only add weight. Documents that are important for customs remain in the package. Write any special packing requests in the comments, and the warehouse will read them.
