Pixel 6 Pro
Pixel 6 Pro will have a 6,7-inch QHD display (2560 x 1440), with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The screen is slightly curved at the edges and transitions into shiny polished aluminum rails on the sides. It has three cameras on the back panel: a wide-angle main camera, an ultra-wide-angle camera, and a folded telephoto lens with 4x optical zoom. Google is not sharing the camera specifications, except that the main wide-angle sensor takes in 150 percent more light. As for the front camera, Pixel 6 Pro is expected to be able to shoot video in 4K.
Pixel 6
The regular Pixel 6 has a 6,4-inch FHD + screen with a 90 Hz refresh rate. Its screen is perfectly flat, with matte rails. The rear camera is identical, but without the telephoto lens.
Flagship design
The design undoubtedly differs from all the smartphones we know. Apple, Samsung, and Xiaomi place their cameras in the upper left corner. Pixel 6 and 6 Pro models will have an entire “camera bar” on the back cover that runs across the full width of the phone. The colors of the flagships will differ slightly.
Tensor SoC processor
Although there will be differences in memory between the phones, both will have the new Tensor SoC, the Titan M2 security chip, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The most important part of the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro is the new Tensor SoC processor. “It took us several years, but we finally created a technology platform that we think is truly important.” Overall, computing power on Android phones is considered worse than on Apple devices with their A-Series chips. Could Google potentially create a more competitive chip that would set its products apart? So far, the company has not shared performance tests, but Google representatives noted that the new processor will be a market leader. Rumor has it that Samsung took part in the development of the new chip, and special attention was paid to AI optimization.
